Security Officer Driver Hospital Rounds – Memphis, TN

Daytime – Mon 07:00 AM – 03:00 PM;
Sun 07:00 AM – 03:00 PM

What You'll Do
  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and communicate with staff and first responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, assisting with access control, visitor direction, and after‑hours security-related support.
  • Document incidents, observations, and daily activities in required reports, and report maintenance concerns, hazards, and/or suspicious behavior to site contacts.
Minimum Requirements
  • Hospital vaccinations are required.
  • Must be able to work in a hospital environment that includes a morgue.
  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
