About the RoleAs a Security Officer Driving Patrol you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and support access control activities while delivering exceptional customer service and communication. - Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at a technology‑focused location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant information with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify suspicious activity, access concerns, and maintenance issues that could affect daily operations.
- Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and visitor procedures as directed by site policy, and report unauthorized persons, deliveries, and property movement.
- Support access control, alarm response, and after‑hours checks for office, production, and common areas while following post orders and client‑specific expectations.
- A minimum of 2 years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience.
- Access control and/or badge experience preferred.
- CPR and/or First Aid certification preferred.
- A valid driver's license required.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirement are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
