- Provide customer service to all personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site‑specific access control procedures, badge and credential verification, and other security‑related policies at the location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, process visitor registrations, and maintain accurate access records to help support authorized movement throughout a chemical and petrochemical environment.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following post orders and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, observing for unusual conditions, unauthorized access attempts, and other security‑related concerns.
- Assist with screening deliveries, vehicles, and personnel entering restricted areas, and report policy violations, hazards, and/or suspicious activity according to site procedures.
- A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
