Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location;
Monitor entrances, exits, and credential checks to help control access to restricted areas, verify authorized entry, and report unusual activity or policy concerns;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with supervisors, staff, and/or first responders as needed;
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, paying attention to access points, sensitive areas, and conditions that may require security-related follow-up
