Security Officer Clinical Driver Patrol – Memphis, TN
Position Type:
Part Time
Pay Rate: $17.91 / Hour
Job Schedule:
Sat 03:00 PM – 11:00 PM;
Sun 03:00 PM – 11:00 PM.
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and help control entry and exit activity, offering directions and assistance while following site protocols for visitors, deliveries, and restricted areas.
- Support healthcare operations by reporting hazards, maintenance concerns, and security‑related issues, and by assisting with de‑escalation and orderly movement of people during high‑traffic or emergency situations.
- Must be willing to comply with hospital vaccine requirements.
- Must be willing to work in a hospital environment that includes a morgue.
- Must provide proof of high school diploma or GED.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Must be willing to restrain individuals in a hospital environment.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
