Security Officer Checkpoint Security Driver in Memphis, TN. The role requires a valid driver’s license and directs employees to monitor entry points, verify credentials, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible deterrent presence. Strong customer service and communication skills are essential.

Mon, Tue, Sat, Sun: 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery drivers by carrying out security-related procedures and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Monitor and manage access control points by checking credentials, verifying authorized entry, documenting arrivals and departures, and communicating with site contacts regarding access requests.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and report relevant activity according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, parking areas, loading and unloading zones, and perimeter.
• Support gatehouse and/or entry operations by monitoring vehicle traffic, controlling access to restricted areas, and documenting security-related concerns and policy violations.

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation will be conducted in accordance with all applicable laws.
• Qualified applications with criminal histories may be considered in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Drug screening, to the extent permitted by law, will be required.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
