Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location;
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns;
Monitor access points, visitor activity, and restricted areas in accordance with site protocols while maintaining a professional presence;
Document incidents, observations, and daily activities, and report security-related concerns to site leadership according to established procedures;
Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with staff and first responders when needed
