From coordinating equipment for new store openings to resolving service issues in existing locations, you'll help maintain a safe and secure environment for Auto Zone customers and employees.

Success in this role requires a blend of project coordination, technical expertise, vendor management, and problem-solving skills. You'll work independently while collaborating closely with a small, highly engaged team to ensure security projects are completed on time, within scope, and to company standards.

  • Partner with Store Development and Store Setup teams to ensure all required security equipment is delivered, installed, tested, and operational prior to store opening.
  • Manage and support fire, security, access control, alarm, safe, lock, electronic article surveillance (EAS), and video systems across existing store locations.
  • Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and service providers to resolve equipment concerns quickly and effectively.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for stores requiring service, repairs, or maintenance on security-related equipment.
  • Monitor project timelines and vendor performance to ensure work is completed accurately, safely, and on schedule.
  • Oversee contractors and service providers while on-site, providing guidance on repair procedures and confirming successful completion of work.
  • Maintain strong relationships with vendors and contractors to support ongoing operational and project needs.
  • Communicate effectively with field teams, vendors, and business partners through phone, email, and in-person interactions.
  • Support the continuous improvement of security system processes and standards across the organization.

  • Proven ability to coordinate multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working independently with minimal supervision while maintaining a high level of accountability.
  • Strong vendor and contractor management experience.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional partners and operate successfully as part of a small team.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to service excellence and operational reliability.

  • Experience managing security system installations for large-scale new construction or remodel projects.
  • Familiarity with security compliance standards, life safety requirements, and industry best practices.
