Role:

Security Engineersisseeking dedicated

Unarmed Patrol Security Officers to help maintain safe and secure environments for our clients. Officers play a vital role in deterring incidents through visibility, vigilance, and proactive engagement. Responsibilities include patrolling, monitoring access points, verifying identification, responding to alarms/emergencies, andmaintainingdetailed logs. This role requires professionalism, strong observational skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

Minimum Qualifications

Musthave or be ableto obtain aValid Security Officer/Guard License as required bythe state licensing authority
Valid driver’s license and a Motor Vehicle Record that meets company approved driver standards
Must be at least 18 years old
TN Security Guard License, preferred.

Duties & Responsibilities

Conduct walking and vehiclepatrols toidentifyand report safety concerns
Monitoraccess points; verify IDs and credentials
Monitorsurveillance systems for threats or suspicious activity
Respond to alarms, emergencies, and incidents per protocol
Maintainaccuratelogs of activities and incidents perform routine security tasks (e.g., locking/unlocking doors)

Customer Service & Policy Enforcement

Assist visitors and employees professionally
Enforce site-specific Post Orders and security protocols
Ensure compliance with SEI and client policies (e.g., smoking, loitering, parking)

Required Skills & Abilities Minimum

Ability to perform in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
Weekend availability
Strong situational awareness and problem-solving skills
Ability to remain calm and effective in critical situations
Basic computer skills; ability to use tablets for reporting

Preferred

Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite

Physical Requirements With or Without reasonable accommodation

Stand/sit for at least 1 hour without break
Walk a minimum of ½ mile without stopping
Climb at least 20 commercial facility stairs without stopping

Education & Experience Minimum

High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred

1+yearsverifiable Military, Law Enforcement or Security Experience
2+ years of verifiable customer service experience
