As a member of the Freightliner Custom Chassis team, you are responsible for diagnosing and repairing issues on products using proper service procedures and technics. The candidate for this position will have a passion for process improvements, a keen eye to detail, and love numbers. Responsibilities- Must be able to read and interpret blueprints.
- Diesel and gasoline engine fuel systems.
- Automotive electrical systems.
- Automotive air conditioning/cooling systems.
- Diesel and gasoline engine fuel systems.
- Diesel engine alarm and shutdown systems.
- Should possess some "mig" and "tig" welding experience.
- Should be versed in the use of oxy/acetylene cutting outfits.
Must have a Diploma/GED
- Two-year associate degree in automotive mechanics/technology preferred with three to five years of service/repair experience. Electrical experience a plus.
- Good driving record required and a current commercial driver's license with passenger endorsement or the ability to obtain a CDL within 6 months.
- Must be willing to travel upon short notice and work flexible hours.
This position is open to applicants who can work in (or relocate to) the following location(s)- Tennessee FCCC TMP. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
