Low Voltage Technician Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Technician to join our team, focusing on the expansion and construction of new buildings. The role involves pulling low voltage cables and installing cabling for telecommunications. Candidates should have knowledge of cat5 and cat6 cables and possess basic skills in using hand and power tools.
Responsibilities- Pull and install low voltage cables for telecommunications.
- Work on both expansion and new building projects.
- Set up and pull cables efficiently.
- Utilize basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
- Ensure proper installation and troubleshooting of cabling systems.
- 2+ years of experience in low voltage cable pulling and installation.
- Proficiency in using power tools and conduits.
- Familiarity with cat5 and cat6 cables.
- Experience in construction and new build environments.
Skills & Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience preferred.
- Knowledgeable in low voltage wiring.
- Experience in environments such as commercial, residential, or data centers.

Work EnvironmentThis role is based on an active construction site, so safety orientation is critical. We provide hard hats, safety glasses, and gloves. Contractors are required to have their own safety boots and vest.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Memphis, TN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
