Overview: We are looking for a talented and driven Trailer Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in maintaining and repairing a wide range of trailers, including tractor-trailers and box trucks. This role requires precision, attention to detail, a strong commitment to safety, and excellent customer service skills. As a Trailer Mechanic, you'll be integral in ensuring that our customer's units are serviced promptly and to the highest standards.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on trailers, including air brake systems and hydraulic components.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and resolve them efficiently.
• Align trailer components to meet safety and operational standards.
• Weld and repair trailer structures as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and high-quality completion of repairs.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
• Perform structural repairs on trailers and box trucks, including reefer boxes.

Experience & Skills:

• Prior experience as a mechanic, ideally in a dealership or industrial equipment environment.
• Expertise in working with hydraulics and air brake systems is essential.
• Clean driving record for potential service truck duties.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Effective communication skills for interaction with customers and teammates.
