Maintenance Technician / Mechanic, Installation Technician
Mechanic C:
Repairs and maintains diesel and gasoline industrial and submersible pumps. Positively represents the Company and maintains good relationships with customers.
- Perform basic inspections while learning RFR SOPs.
- Perform engine services such as oil and fuel filter changes.
- Properly grease pump and wheel bearings.
- Operate portable cordless, electric, and pneumatic tools safely.
- Operate shop stationary power tools safely.
- Knowledge of pipe fittings and flanges for fitting pumps for customers.
- Assemble and secure pipes, fittings, and related equipment per specifications.
- Receive, inspect, and stock needed products including oil filters, air filters, pumps, hoses, and tools.
- Read, comprehend, and apply information from parts diagrams and manuals.
- Inspect, examine, and test pumps using appropriate specifications.
- Complete paperwork and electronic documents as required by management.
- Participate in the on-call rotation as needed.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
- Work flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
- Use calculator, cellular telephone, and tape measure or ruler.
- Read a map, plan routes, and calculate distances.
- Be motivated, team player, safety-oriented, and have a customer service orientation.
The job requires standing, walking, using hands, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and lifting up to 100 pounds. Manual dexterity, vision, and overall physical activity are required.

- 1-2 years mechanic experience.
- 1-2 years trade school or equivalent training maintaining industrial, mud, vacuum, or submersible pumps.
