Lead Systems Technician
Location: Memphis, TN
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 1st shift hours
The Lead Systems Technician will be responsible for servicing and installing integrated systems including burglar and fire alarms, access control, and video. The role requires strong technical aptitude and effective interpersonal skills.
What You'll Do- Complete system servicing and/or installations of various types of integrated systems.
- Complete servicing and/or installation of basic to advanced network devices.
- Program and commission security, fire, access control, and video surveillance systems.
- Assist with new technician training.
- Education & Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 5+ years of industry experience - preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of fire detection and signaling systems experience (burglary, fire alarm, CCTV, and access control).
- Certification/License:
- Valid Driver’s License.
- ESA Certified Alarm Technician Level 2 or equivalent - preferred.
- NICET Fire or Video Level 2 - preferred.
- Communication: Ability to effectively communicate with various individuals in a professional manner to provide superior customer service.
- Technical:
- Assist in design of integrated systems; understand software and programming for the primary manufacturers used by the branch.
- Decipher and design integrated systems in conjunction with local jurisdiction requirements.
