Apprentice Technician

Rare opportunity! We are looking for a junior technician to join our team. We will teach this person the ins and outs of the ice machine and refrigeration service business.

Memphis Ice is a family-owned business that was started over 40 years ago to serve the rental ice machine market of the Mid-South. The company has grown to also sell equipment and parts as well as service equipment for all types of customers. • Starting compensation for this position is $18.00 per hour to $30.00 per hour.
• Total pay consists of base hourly rate, monthly performance bonuses and annual holiday bonuses.

• This is an in person, full-time role based in the Memphis, TN area.
• We cover a service territory of about a 120 radius of Memphis.

• Assist with installations and cleaning of customer equipment.
• Communicate with customers and provide accurate record keeping of work done on jobs.
• Various warehouse, shop, and delivery duties.

• Assist in completion of 3-5 equipment services per day.
• Receive customer ratings of 9 or higher for work performed and communication skills.
• Improve efficiency of our warehouse operations and parts/ice deliveries.

• Operational functions of various ice machine and refrigeration equipment.
• Installation and cleaning services for various ice machine and refrigeration units.
• Full repair service for commercial ice machine and refrigeration systems.
