Overview
Maintenance Technician II (Cavelier Court Apartments) – Memphis, TN. A 200-unit property requiring strong technical skills and excellent customer service to maintain and improve our communities.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday with a rotational on-call schedule.
- Diagnose and repair in areas including appliances, carpentry, hardware accessories, masonry, painting, basic electrical, basic plumbing, and basic HVAC.
- Complete assigned service requests and repairs in accordance with company procedures.
- Assist in preparing vacant apartments for market-ready status per company standards.
- Maintain grounds and curb appeal through snow removal, landscaping, and trash management activities.
- Complete all resident and site work orders in a timely manner.
- Perform on-call activity during off-hours and emergencies based on a pre-determined schedule and need.
- 1-3 years of relevant work experience.
- General knowledge of electrical, plumbing, appliances, HVAC, and/or carpentry.
- Basic familiarity with computers and tablets.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Availability for on-call activity during off-hours for urgent needs.
- Ability to speak and understand basic English.
- Vocational or technical training.
- CAMT accreditation.
