Position: Skilled Maintenance (Memphis, TN)

Skilled Maintenance - Memphis, TN

Full-time | $22.00 - $25.00/hour | 40 hours/week

Key Responsibilities
  • General Maintenance:
    Perform routine repairs including plumbing (leaky faucets, toilet clogs), electrical (bulb replacement, outlet repair), HVAC troubleshooting, and basic carpentry.
  • Unit Turns:
    Efficiently prep vacant apartments for new residents, including painting, flooring repairs, and deep cleaning.
  • Preventative Maintenance:
    Conduct regular inspections of common areas and mechanical rooms to catch issues.
  • Regulatory Compliance:
    Maintain the property to meet local housing authority and HUD standards. Ensure all fire codes and safety regulations are strictly followed.
  • Emergency Response:
    Availability for after-hours emergencies.
  • Resident Relations:
    Interact with senior residents with patience and respect, often entering their homes to perform repairs while ensuring their comfort and privacy.
Qualifications
  • Driver's License
  • High School diploma or GED
  • 5+ years’ experience in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical work under supervision.
  • Journeyman status or equivalent in two skills preferred.
  • HVAC certification required.
