Automotive Fleet Mechanic Technician
Bark & Mane of Greater Memphis and West TN is looking for a dependable Automotive Fleet Mechanic Technician to help maintain and repair our fleet of 25+ mobile grooming vans. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands on mechanical work, takes pride in keeping vehicles safe and reliable, and wants a steady salary instead of flat rate or flag hours.
You would primarily work on the same fleet of vehicles instead of bouncing between random customer cars all day. This role is independent in the sense that we need someone who can stay productive, work without constant supervision, and take ownership of the quality of their work. However, you will not be expected to run the fleet operation alone. You will work alongside our fleet coordinator and fleet assistant, who help with scheduling, parts ordering, repair priorities, and general fleet coordination.
Why You'll Like Working With Us:
Steady Salary:
This is a salary position, not flat rate or flag hours. Expected compensation is $55,000 to $75,000 per year, depending on experience and skill set.
Consistent Fleet:
You will primarily work on our own fleet of mobile grooming vans and related equipment. You get to know the vehicles instead of starting from scratch on a different customer car every day.
Supportive Fleet Team:
You will work with our fleet coordinator and fleet assistant, who help keep the work organized and moving. You will have support with scheduling, parts, priorities, and communication with the rest of the team.
Low Drama Work Environment:
This is not a dealership or large corporate repair shop. You will be part of a smaller, supportive team where the work matters and the expectations are clear.
