Low Voltage Technician

• Pull, terminate, dress, and label CAT5e/CAT6 cable and fiber optic cabling.
• Test installed cable (Fluke or similar testers).
• Punch down voice and data jacks.
• Install racks, patch panels, cable trays, cabinets, MDF/IDF, etc.
• Work safely on ladders/lifts (comfortable with heights).
• Read and interpret blueprints/system layouts.
• Terminate and install RJ45, coaxial, and fiber optic connectors.

• 2+ years of experience installing low‑voltage structured cabling systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced construction environment.
• Experience with OTDR, power meter, and fiber test equipment.
• Working knowledge of telecom and data networks.
• BICSI, Lift, and OSHA certifications a plus;
  Manufacturer or FOA (Fiber Optic Association) certifications a plus.
• Basic hand tools and PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi‑vis vest, steel‑toe boots).
• Willingness to travel to job sites within Arkansas, Mississippi, Tennessee as needed; will travel with Access Lead in company vehicle.
