Responsibilities
- Measures voltage, current, and power in AC/DC circuits and uses diagnostic tools for troubleshooting.
- Executes basic wiring, comprehends wire gauges, and applies knowledge of NEC/UL codes.
- Utilizes a computer and diagnostics software for electrical and automation problem diagnosis.
- Aligns, installs, and maintains various mechanical components, including belt drives, pulleys, chains, sprocket drives, shaft assemblies, and bearings.
- Installs or replaces motors and understands air and water systems.
- Aligns, installs, and maintains pneumatic lines/hoses, adjusts pressures, and checks the operation of water separator/drain in pneumatic systems.
- Diagnoses and repairs compressors/vacuum pumps.
- Demonstrates basic pipe fitting knowledge, uses a pipe threader, and understands fluid contamination prevention processes.
- Installs, repairs, and maintains pumps, hoses, valves, cylinders, filters, regulators, and seals.
- Demonstrates basic knowledge of metal materials, welding rods, and procedures.
- Recognizes and uses proper safety equipment in welding, including mig and tig welding equipment.
- Evaluates corrective maintenance/repair on machinery.
- Performs other assigned duties as required.
Minimum of a high‑school diploma or GED, with certification in any of the skilled maintenance trades. 1–3 years of basic mechanical experience is required. The candidate should have basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, email, file management) and be able to learn preventive maintenance software for scheduling and monitoring equipment. Hands‑on experience with equipment controls and basic NESC, UL/ETL knowledge (electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic) is expected.
Current material handling certification, Lock Out/Tag Out, Lifting & Rigging, preventive or predictive maintenance, or journeyman/trades licensing is preferred.

Skills and Abilities- Competent in evaluating and executing corrective maintenance on machinery.
- Commitment to continuous learning and completion of the designated maintenance education program.
All tasks are performed on‑site in a dusty factory setting with extreme temperatures. The role includes working at heights over 3 feet, lifting up to 50 pounds, and collaborating effectively in a team environment for problem‑solving and backup support.
