Overview

The Service Technician is responsible for installing and servicing advanced equipment for new and existing customers throughout the food service industry. The role includes on-site installation, training, routine maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of equipment.

Compensation
  • $26.00 per hour
  • Shift differential
  • Overtime pay
  • Quarterly bonus up to $5,200 per year

Primary Job Accountabilities
  • Install and maintain products safely, timely, and accurately
  • Meet operational goals and timelines (service labor per hour, first‑time right, 5S standards)
  • Comply with internal processes and federal/local regulations (DOT, OSHA, HACCP)
  • Maintain parts and supply levels in service vehicles and complete required paperwork
  • Communicate with customers to ensure product performance meets expectations
  • Provide professional service, training, and coaching to customers
  • Use iPhone apps for parts, customer notes, and timekeeping
  • Work may include night installation shifts; schedule varies by customer demand
Minimum Qualifications
  • Minimum age 21 with a valid driver’s license
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Problem‑solving skills for installation and service issues
  • Basic mechanical or electrical aptitude
  • Strong customer focus and positive communication skills
  • Maintenance of a safe driving record and compliance with Fleet Safety requirements
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, bend, stoop, squat, stand, walk, climb, twist, turn, and reach
  • Ability to climb ladders up to 20 feet
Preferred Qualifications
  • Vocational training or related education
