Traveling Field Service Technician

Xylem is looking for a Traveling Field Service Technician to report to our Memphis, TN location and service our water treatment equipment at customer sites throughout the USA.
** What your day will look like as a Traveling Field Service Technician
** The Field Service Technician will be responsible for the installation, service, and maintenance of our water purification equipment, utilizing a company service vehicle and air travel. Equipment specific training will be provided. Willing to train the right person, but previous technical/mechanical/plumbing experience is especially encouraged.

This position will require M-F travel at minimum.

** Position Requirements for Traveling Field Service Technicians
** HS diploma or equivalent2+ years technical experience preferred- industrial or commercial process water experience a plus

Experience with Microsoft office, including the ability to utilize smart devices

Ability to work in a high customer facing position

Ability to identify and remedy potential safety concerns

Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, MVR, and DOT physicalA valid driver’s license with a clean driving record TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: 50% or more

The estimated salary range for this position is $28 to $34/hr starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range.
