Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Carpenter to join our construction team. The Carpenter will be responsible for constructing, installing, repairing, and maintaining structures and fixtures made from wood, plywood, drywall, and other building materials. The ideal candidate should have strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to workplace safety.

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and building plans.
• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other construction materials.
• Install doors, windows, cabinets, flooring, roofing, and other fixtures.
• Construct and repair building frameworks, walls, partitions, and staircases.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery safely and efficiently.
• Inspect and replace damaged structures or fixtures as needed.
• Ensure all work complies with building codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Collaborate with supervisors, contractors, and other construction workers to complete projects on time.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a carpenter or completion of a carpentry apprenticeship.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
• Strong mathematical and measuring skills.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials.
• Excellent problem-solving and teamwork skills.

• Knowledge of residential and commercial construction.
• Familiarity with local building codes and safety regulations.
• Attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
• Good communication and time management skills.
