Base Compensation: $35 - $45/hour + overtime eligibility

Shift: Standard Mon-Fri Day shifts

SUMMARY

Are you an electrician or controls professional looking to expand your career in industrial automation? We are partnering with a rapidly growing food manufacturer seeking an E&I Technician to support automation projects, electrical installations, instrumentation, and advanced manufacturing systems. This is a hands‑on role working alongside engineering, controls, and maintenance teams to commission new equipment, troubleshoot production systems, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Install, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair industrial electrical and automation equipment.
  • Support commissioning and startup activities for new production lines and manufacturing equipment.
  • Assist with the construction, modification, and installation of control panels and electrical infrastructure.

    Calibrate and troubleshoot instrumentation including flow, level, pressure, temperature, and weighing devices.
  • Diagnose issues involving PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, servo systems, motors, and industrial controls.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.
  • Support electrical safety initiatives and ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards.
  • Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and operations personnel to successfully execute projects.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent industrial electrical experience preferred.
  • Experience supporting industrial control systems within a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of PLCs, motor controls, MCCs, VFDs, servos, and industrial instrumentation.
  • Ability to troubleshoot electrical and automation‑related issues independently.
  • Familiarity with industrial control panels, electrical drawings, and safety circuits.
  • Food, beverage, consumer products, or other process manufacturing experience is a preferred
