Xylem is looking for a Traveling Field Service Technician to report to our Memphis, TN location and service our water treatment equipment at customer sites throughout the USA.
What your day will look like as a Traveling Field Service TechnicianThe Field Service Technician will be responsible for the installation, service, and maintenance of our water purification equipment, utilizing a company service vehicle and air travel. Equipment specific training will be provided. Willing to train the right person, but previous technical, mechanical, or plumbing experience is especially encouraged.
This position will require M-F travel at minimum.

The estimated salary range for this position is $28 to $34/hr starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range. Xylem offers a competitive compensation package including Medical, Dental, Vision plans, 401(k) with company contribution, paid time off, paid parental leave and tuition reimbursement.
Position Requirements for Traveling Field Service Technicians- HS diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years technical experience preferred – industrial or commercial process water experience a plus
- Experience with Microsoft Office, including the ability to utilize smart devices
- Ability to work in a high customer‑facing position
- Ability to identify and remedy potential safety concerns
- Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, MVR, and DOT physical
- A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: 50% or more
