Electrical​/Instrumentation Technician

We are seeking an Electrical/Instrumentation Technician to support the Tissue Machine and/or Converting Operations at the Calhoun, TN mill. The role is hourly and involves maintaining electrical and instrumentation equipment to ensure safe, productive operation while minimizing unscheduled downtime.

• Base salary of $43.87 per hour, or $45.86 for 12‑hour shifts

• Support the Tissue Machine and/or Converting Operations by maintaining electrical and instrumentation equipment and executing preventive maintenance routes as directed by the area maintenance supervisor.
• Understand and execute lockout and tagout procedures for all work.
• Maintain professionalism using proper tools for the task.
• Review and input to all job task write‑ups before performance of work with the maintenance planner and/or supervisor.
• Work 12‑hour rotating shifts (Dupont Schedule after 1 year of service) or M‑F day‑shift hours, with overtime or weekends as needed.
• Able to lift 50 lbs.

• Journeyman E/I required or a minimum of 5 years of experience.
• Knowledgeable and proficient in DCS/PLC troubleshooting.
• Proficient in troubleshooting VFD drive hardware and communications equipment.
• Experience operating high‑voltage test equipment.
• Ability to configure and tune loops and control logic.
• Experience troubleshooting DCS, roll handling, and other process monitoring and control equipment hardware and communications systems.
• Knowledgeable and proficient with automated packaging equipment.
• Proficient in calibration and maintenance of all tagged field instrumentation.
• Knowledge and proficiency in lubrication of electrical equipment.
• Interpret electrical schematics with proficiency.
