Electrical Foreman - Per Diem Offered
Memphis, Tennessee
Trillium Construction is seeking experienced Electrical Foremen to lead electrical crews in the field.
The ideal candidate will have strong power distribution experience, hands-on electrical expertise, and the ability to effectively lead a field crew.
Schedule:
7 days per week, 12-hour shifts through Christmas Crew Oversight:
Approximately 15–20 personnel. Pay: $38/hr - $40/hr, $150/day per diem.
Responsibilities:
- Direct and supervise assigned electrical crews and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications.
- Coordinate daily manpower, materials, tools, and equipment.
- Perform and oversee electrical layout, installation, troubleshooting, and repair.
- Install electrical and instrument wiring, devices, supports, equipment, and related systems.
- Read and understand electrical drawings, manuals, schematics, and P&IDs.
- Perform and document calibrations, installations, fault diagnosis, and repairs of electronic, mechanical, and pneumatic instruments and systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair instrumentation, controls, AC/DC motor controls, and drives.
- Identify and correct measurement and instrumentation errors.
- Replace instrumentation and controls as required.
- Assist with testing and commissioning activities.
- Maintain accurate redline drawings and communicate field changes to supervision.
- Consult with the Superintendent and project supervision regarding troubleshooting and problem resolution.
- Monitor crew productivity and work quality.
- Ensure all crew members follow proper safety procedures and project requirements.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Electrical Foreman or Lead Electrician.
- Strong power distribution experience required.
- Hands-on experience with electrical installation, troubleshooting, controls, and instrumentation.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, drawings, manuals, and P&IDs.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to direct a crew and coordinate daily field activities.
- OSHA 10, or ability to obtain one
- Must be able to work 7 days per week, 12-hour shifts through Christmas.
- Ability to pass pre-employment screenings
