• Recondition and repair heavy equipment and components
• Perform diagnostic inspections and identify needed repairs
• Accurately record time, parts, supplies, and outside purchases
• Maintain tools, vehicles, and shop equipment in top condition

• Minimum of 3 years of diesel technician training, work experience, or a combination of education and hands‑on experience in the repair and maintenance of heavy equipment preferred. Candidates with less than 3 years may be considered based on the depth and relevance of their combined education and experience.
• Experience with John Deere equipment is highly desirable.
• High School Diploma or GED required; relevant industry experience may be considered in place of formal education.
• Valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record and a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• Basic computer proficiency, including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and web-based applications.
• Must provide and maintain a personal set of tools necessary to perform assigned job duties.
