BP Energy seeks a Field Service Maintenance Technician to support reliable, safe operation of utility and energy assets across regional sites. In this role, you'll perform on site troubleshooting, preventive and corrective maintenance, and minor installation work on electrical, mechanical, and control systems. You'll follow strict safety and environmental standards while collaborating with diverse teams to solve complex technical issues. Responsibilities
- Perform field maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on BP Energy equipment and utility systems at customer and company sites.
- Execute preventive and predictive maintenance to maximize reliability and minimize downtime of energy assets.
- Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and control issues using test equipment, technical manuals, and digital tools.
- Document work performed, parts used, and asset condition in computerized maintenance systems with accurate reports.
- Follow BP's safety standards, regulatory requirements, and lockout/tagout procedures at all times.
- Coordinate with operations, engineering, and suppliers to plan outages, order parts, and close maintenance work orders.
- Support commissioning, upgrades, and retrofits of energy equipment and low carbon solutions as needed.
- Participate in on call rotations and respond to urgent maintenance events or unplanned outages.
- Identify recurring issues and recommend reliability and process improvements to supervisors and engineers.
- Mentor junior technicians and contribute to a culture of learning, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
