Ozark Motor Lines, Inc. is seeking skilled and dedicated Diesel Technicians to join our team in the transportation industry.

As a Diesel Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of our fleet. You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and related systems, including fuel systems, electrical components, and brake systems. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

You will be working with up-to-date diagnostic tools and equipment to identify mechanical and electrical issues and implement effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspection on diesel engines and related vehicle systems to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults using diagnostic tools and manual inspection methods.
  • Repair or replace faulty components such as DEF pumps, brakes, and electrical wiring.
  • Maintain accurate records for services performed, parts used and vehicle performance.
  • Ensure all repairs comply with safety regulations and company standards.
  • Keep up to date with the latest diesel technology advancements and training.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Diesel Technician or a similar role in the transportation or trucking industry.
  • Valid driver’s license and the ability to operate commercial vehicles preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of diesel engines, heavy-duty trucks, electrical components, and related mechanical systems
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and service bulletins.
  • Familiarity with computerized diagnostic equipment and tools.
  • Excellent critical thinking skills and mechanical aptitude
