Access Control and CCTV Technician – Security Systems | Memphis, TN Area

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, service, and program/commission security and access control devices
• Install door hardware including magnetic locks, electric strikes, and related components
• Install, service, and troubleshoot CCTV systems
• Read and interpret access control and CCTV blueprints
• Work safely on ladders and lifts and be comfortable working at heights
• Support additional low voltage systems as needed at commercial and industrial sites including schools, hospitals, office buildings, warehouses, and other facilities

Requirements

• 2+ experience with access control and security systems, including wiring panels, installing access control components, and pulling cable
• Experience with systems such as Genetec, Axis, Hanwha, DSC, , Avigilon, and Gallagher is preferred
• Working knowledge of telecom and data networking infrastructure
• Experience programming access control and CCTV systems is a plus
• Manufacturer certifications, BICSI, Lift, and OSHA certifications are a plus
• Basic hand tools and PPE required, including hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, and steel-toe boots
• Willingness to travel to job sites within Memphis, TN, and the surrounding areas as needed
