Core Responsibilities
- Design and develop custom applications using Oracle APEX and Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS).
- Build user friendly UI/UX interfaces with responsive layouts and modern front-end design.
- Develop RESTful services and integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) or native PL/SQL APIs.
- Build EBS R12 extensions using:
- Oracle APEX front-ends
- VBCS front-ends
- Custom PL/SQL packages, functions, and procedures
- Integrate custom apps securely with EBS modules such as Finance, SCM, HR, etc.
- Develop Oracle EBS personalization and extension components without impacting standard functionality.
- Consume and expose REST/SOAP APIs between APEX/VBCS and Oracle EBS.
- Develop and maintain FBDI, BIP, or OIC-based integrations where needed.
- Work closely with functional teams to gather requirements and propose technical solutions.
- Prepare technical design documents, architecture diagrams, and deployment plans.
- Conduct unit testing, performance tuning, and debugging.
- Support UAT and production rollout activities.
- Ensure solutions follow Oracle best practices, security guidelines, and performance standards.
- 5+ years experience with Oracle APEX (Forms, Reports, Interactive Grid, REST-enabled SQL, Dynamic Actions).
- 2+ years experience with Oracle VBCS (Web apps, mobile apps, custom flows).
- Strong Oracle PL/SQL programming skills.
- Hands‑on experience integrating with Oracle E‑Business Suite R12.
- Experience with REST/SOAP web services, OAuth, and API security.
- Practical knowledge of Oracle Database objects: tables, views, packages, triggers.
- Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) integrations.
- Experience with Oracle Cloud ERP would be a plus.
- Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3 for UI enhancements.
- Understanding of Dev Ops tools (Git, CI/CD, Build pipelines).
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a cross‑functional team.
- Strong commitment to delivery timelines and quality.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Oracle certifications are an advantage.
