Data Engineer
Under limited supervision, creates project level data architecture artifacts for specific projects.
Essential Functions- Working with the business, it and other architects, facilitates the creation and evaluation of data models, data governance data strategy through the review of requirements and use cases to recommend project level artifacts with strategic initiatives and with the standard methodologies for development.

Bachelor's degree, in computer science, engineering, information systems and/or equivalent formal training.
Minimum ExperienceFive (5) years equivalent work experience in information technology or engineering environment.
Knowledge, Skills, And AbilitiesAbility to apply basic computer concepts, theories, principles and methods to projects, business problems, issues, and/or questions.
Preferred Qualifications- Data Modeling:
Expert knowledge of conceptual, logical, and physical data models. - Cloud Platforms:
Proficiency in Azure (Synapse, Data Factory), Google Cloud (Big Query) or AWS (Redshift, Glue). - Proficiency with ER Studio (or other tools like ERwin, IBM Info Sphere Data Architect, or Visio).
- Knowledge of architectural design tools like Sparx
- Strong understanding of structured data like JSON and XML
- Big Data & Streaming:
Experience with Hadoop, Apache Spark, and real-time streaming tools like Apache Kafka. - Database Systems:
Mastery of Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) like SQL Server, Oracle, and Postgre
SQL, alongside No
SQL databases like Mongo
DB, Cassandra, or HBase. - Data Warehousing:
Designing and maintaining enterprise data warehouses and understanding architectures like Star Schema or Snowflake Schema. - ETL/ELT Pipelines:
Designing processes for Extract, Transform, and Load using tools like Talend, Informatica, or dbt.
