Software Test Engineer ​/ QA Engineer

Our client, a leading organization in the technology and software development industry, is seeking a Software Test Engineer / QA Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a Software Test Engineer / QA Engineer, you will be an integral part of the Quality Assurance department supporting cross-functional teams dedicated to delivering high-quality cloud-based web applications. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical thinking, excellent communication skills, and a passion for ensuring software excellence, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Software Test Engineer / QA Engineer

Location:Memphis, TN (onsite with a hybrid schedule of 2-3 days a week)

Pay Range:$50

What's the Job?

• Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks and scripts for UI using Selenium Java and for REST APIs using Rest Assured and TestNG
• Build and implement SQL queries and validate databases using automation tools
• Blend automated and manual testing strategies to ensure comprehensive end-to-end functional coverage without compromising quality
• Perform hands-on testing of Microservices and REST APIs, including automation and integration testing
• Review requirements and design documents to create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans, test strategies, and accurate work execution estimates

What's Needed?

• Proficiency in test automation using Selenium Java, Rest Assured, TestNG, Cucumber, Postman, Ready API, and REST/JSON APIs
• Strong SQL skills with the ability to build queries and validate databases through automation
• Hands-on experience with Microservice and REST API testing, including automation and integration
• Proficiency with the Atlassian toolset including Jira, Confluence, Stash, and Bamboo
• Strong knowledge of Agile and Scrum development methodologies
