Job Description:
A manufacturing company that manufactures residential ceiling fans needs help modernize their technology platforms, so they are looking to bring in an Integration Engineer. Their parent company managed many of their integrations, but they are now moving toward being self-sufficient. The immediate need is focused on supporting and maintaining existing integrations rather than building API-first integrations today. Long term, the organization plans to modernize integrations and move toward a more API-driven architecture.
They are transforming from legacy FTP and batch-file integrations toward API-first, service-oriented architecture. This role will design reusable integration services, modern data pipelines, and the foundation for Databricks, AI, and enterprise analytics over the next 12–24 months.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement integrations across Infor LN, Infor ION, Shopify, Salsify, WMS, SPS Commerce, Logfire, UKG, EDI, PLM, Azure, and future platforms. Replace legacy FTP/SFTP integrations with modern APIs, webhooks, messaging, and event-driven patterns. Build scalable data pipelines supporting Power BI, Azure Data Lake, Databricks, AI, and operational analytics. Partner with Enterprise Architecture to define standards, security, documentation, and governance. Support strategic digital transformation initiatives across engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, product data, and eCommerce.
