Williamson County Parks and Recreation is seeking responsible, safety‑focused individuals to serve as Seasonal Lifeguards at aquatic facilities located in Brentwood, Fairview, Franklin, Nolensville, and Spring Hill.

Lifeguards are responsible for ensuring the safety of patrons and swimmers through continuous water surveillance, rule enforcement, and prompt response to emergencies. This position also supports daily pool operations and provides a welcoming and professional experience for all guests.

• Maintain constant surveillance of swimmers and pool areas
• Enforce pool rules and safety regulations
• Perform water rescues and provide first aid as required
• Assist with vacuuming and cleaning the pool and surrounding facilities
• Complete daily reports and participate in required in‑service training to maintain lifeguard skills
• Provide a warm, friendly, and customer‑focused environment for guests

• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to remain alert and focused for extended periods
• Ability to respond quickly and effectively in emergency situations

• Ability to stand for long periods
• Ability to work outdoors in heat and varying weather conditions
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

• Must be at least 15 years of age
• Must possess a current lifeguard certification
• Applicants age 18 and older must successfully pass a background check.
