Assistant Golf Course Superintendent

Creekside Plantation Golf Course is a privately owned course located in Seymour, Tennessee. This full-time position is an on-site role for an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent. The individual in this role will assist in overseeing daily golf course maintenance and operations. Responsibilities include managing turf and maintenance, irrigation systems, applying pesticides, and collaborating with the superintendent to ensure the course is in excellent condition year-round.

• Knowledge and experience with Turf Management and Golf Course Management techniques. Prefer someone with an associate degree and excellent references from previous employers.
• Proficiency in Irrigation systems and controls as well as Landscape Maintenance practices.
• Ability to safely handle and apply Pesticides following regulatory guidelines.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills to supervise and train maintenance staff.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in maintaining golf course standards.
• Preferred education:
  
  Degree or certification in turf management, horticulture, or a related field.
• Experience working in golf course or sports field maintenance is highly desirable.
• Physical ability to perform hands-on outdoor maintenance tasks as needed.
• Must have a minimum high school diploma, speak English as a primary language, have a valid Social Security number, passport, or work Visa and must be able to pass a Background check.
