Position and ResponsibilitiesThis position provides overall coordination to ensure all company goals are met for a particular operation(s) and client(s). This role participates in contracting activities associated with Independent Contractors (ICs) that provide delivery equipment and transport products from our clients’ location(s) to designated locations as requested by the customer. This is an entry level position.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Monitor to ensure all routes are covered, IC check-in is complete and communicated to the customer, and routes run on time.
- Create routes per customer requirements. Ensure the IC which accepted dispatch provides the delivery services, and communicate changes to dispatch and ICs as needed.
- Monitor dispatch board to ensure customer-requested delivery times are met.
- Communicate delays and/or problems to the customer and dispatch department.
- Ensure ICs are providing services in the vehicle type requested by the customer.
- Ensure compliance with IC log in process and EC-mobile.
- Work directly with ICs to assist with issues they may encounter while under dispatch.
- Assist in arranging STAT coverage for customers, as needed.
- Restructure routes as requested by the customer to ensure on-time execution.
- Ensure ICs are providing contracted delivery services in compliance with customer regulations.
- Assist with contracting of ICs as needed.
- Complete daily service reports as required by the customer.
- Create and process administrative reports and paperwork as directed.
- Follow up with ICs to ensure their paperwork is up to date.
- Ensure ICs are providing services in a uniform shirt with visible , as required by customers for identification and security purposes.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Basic MS Office programs (Outlook, Excel, Word) experience required.
- Proactive and resourceful with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Independent judgment to plan, prioritize, and organize competing tasks or deadlines.
- Must maintain a valid driver’s license and a clean, functional vehicle.
- Ability to develop and maintain meaningful business relationships with customers.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion.
- Ability to work overtime as necessary.
Experience, Education, Certificates, and Licenses:
- College Degree or a High School Diploma with equivalent education/experience.
- Six Sigma Green Belt Certification preferred.

Shift Hours
: 10am - 7pm (Available to work extra hours, weekends, and holidays preferred)
Pay Rate
: from $21 - $23 per hour (Dependent upon experience level)
