About the RoleWe are seeking a driven and experienced Driver Recruiter to support the growth of our Owner Operator fleet in the Memphis market. In this role, you will manage the full recruitment lifecycle—from sourcing and screening to onboarding—while delivering a best‑in‑class candidate experience.
This position plays a critical role in ensuring we maintain a strong pipeline of qualified, professional drivers to support our expanding intermodal operations.
What You’ll Do- Proactively source, attract, and recruit qualified Owner Operators for intermodal trucking operations
- Build and maintain relationships with driving schools, transportation networks, and industry partners
- Conduct initial screenings and interviews to ensure candidates meet company, safety, and regulatory standards
- Partner closely with Operations and Safety teams to ensure compliance with FMCSA, DOT, and company requirements
- Manage job postings, candidate communications, interviews, and onboarding processes end to end
- Track recruiting metrics and provide regular updates on pipeline health and performance
- Stay current on industry trends, driver compensation benchmarks, and competitor recruiting strategies
- Deliver a positive, professional candidate experience from first contact through onboarding
- 2+ years of experience in driver recruitment, preferably in intermodal, drayage, or transportation
- Working knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT requirements, and Owner Operator compliance standards
- Proven success managing high‑volume recruiting in a fast‑paced environment
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with drivers
- Experience using ATS and recruitment platforms
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow‑through
