Position: Terminal Operations Coordinator - P2421-SN2595

Terminal Operations Coordinator

The Terminal Operations Coordinator provides overall coordination to ensure all company goals are met for the assigned terminal location. Responsibilities include contracting and utilizing independent contractors as courier drivers to transport products from client locations to designated destinations on predetermined routes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Monitor all routes, driver check‑in, and route timing; communicate status to the terminal manager and customer.
  • Create, monitor, and communicate route changes to dispatch and drivers.
  • Monitor dispatch board to ensure delivery times are being met.
  • Communicate delays or problems to the customer and dispatch.
  • Inspect vehicles to ensure customer specifications are met.
  • Ensure compliance with IC login process and EC mobile.
  • Work/communicate directly with drivers to resolve issues on the road.
  • Assist with stat coverage for customers as needed.
  • Ensure driver compliance with all customer regulations.
  • Assist with contracting additional drivers.
  • Complete daily service reports as required by the customer.
  • Create and process administrative reports and paperwork as directed.
  • Ensure driver paperwork is up‑to‑date.
  • Ensure all drivers wear uniform with visible .
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • College degree or a high school diploma with an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience in the logistics and transportation industry and/or routing, dispatch, or inventory.
  • Experience with basic MS Office programs (Outlook, Excel, and Word).
  • Proactive, resourceful, and able to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Independent judgment required to plan, prioritize, and organize competing tasks or demands that may be deadline‑driven.
  • Ability to develop and maintain meaningful business relationships with customers.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion.
  • Availability to work overtime as needed.
