Job SummarySherwin-Williams is hiring Regional Drivers based out of the Memphis, TN area. As a professional driver you will be responsible for safe, on-time pick‑ups and deliveries to Sherwin‑Williams retail and customer stores throughout the Midwest region.
Responsibilities- Transport and deliver/tail‑gate items to destinations as directed
- Understand and comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations including DOT and FMCSA
- Uphold strict safety standards consistent with Company policy
- Maintain accurate and complete DOT trip logs
- Conduct pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections
- Provide excellent customer service
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship for an employment work visa for current or future employment
- Valid Class‑A Commercial Driver's License
- Valid Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC)
- At least five (5) years of Class‑A combination (tractor/trailer) road driving experience within the last ten (10) years
- Both Hazardous Materials and Tanker endorsements, or willingness to obtain them upon a conditional offer of employment
- Proficient in reading and speaking English to communicate with the public, understand highway traffic signs and signals, respond to official inquiries, and record information on reports and records
- Both Hazardous Materials and Tanker endorsements
- Experience backing a CMV into tight spaces, such as retail spaces, parking lots, and driveways
- Freight touch experience, including unloading and moving freight before and after delivery
- Average annual salary range: $101,000 - $106,300 (based on miles driven and activities performed)
- Earn $.77 CPM (includes $.10 CPM per diem) plus activity pay; eligible for safety bonus and subject to applicable plan terms
- Consistent freight and miles, weekly home time, newer Volvo automatics, assigned trucks primarily pulling 48‑53 foot trailers, weekly payroll, transition pay
