Compass Intervention Center is seeking a dynamic and talented Patient Transportation Driver. The Patient Transportation Driver provides transportation of patients to and from outpatient treatment daily in a safe and professional manner. The position also provides transport for patients to and from medical and needed appointments. Effective communication with dispatcher and managing pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicles is required. Must understand and be able to operate GPS devices and cell phones. Perform all duties as assigned by Transport Coordinator.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Creates a safe environment for clients.
- Provides direct supervision of clients.
Position Requirements:
- Drivers must be at least 18 (21) years of age.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- TN Driver License with F Endorsement or Commercial Driver License.
- Physical Examination (at least as extensive as the Department of Transportation’s Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration for Commercial Drivers).
