Salary & Benefits

Salary ranges from $60,000-$75,000 plus a 5-10% performance bonus.

Shift & Hours

Onsite position at our Memphis, TN Terminal. Flexible schedule required:
Monday-Friday 4 PM‑2 AM. Average hours ≈ 50 hrs/week.

Ideal Candidate Requirements
  • Experience in managing a team, preferably in transportation operations.
  • Thorough understanding of the LTL trucking industry.
  • Prior management, dispatch or dock experience, preferably in LTL trucking.
  • Strong leadership skills, including hiring, coaching, counseling, training and mentoring employees.
  • Desire to surround customers with excellence in service.
  • High aptitude for technology.
  • Ability to multi‑task while being detail oriented.
  • Excellent written, listening and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to work 50 hrs/week on average.
  • Capability to work any shift including nights and/or weekends and in any weather condition.
  • Ability to work under tight time constraints in a high‑pressure environment with multiple priorities.
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
Duties
  • Oversee dock operations for your designated section of the terminal dock.
  • Load, manage forklift traffic, and oversee proper picking/sortation of palletized freight.
  • Ensure proper loading of carriers by monitoring the cube and weight of trailers.
  • Provide leadership and accountability to drivers, dock workers and dock hands.
  • Monitor dock production, ensuring facility key performance indicator goals are met and/or exceeded.
  • Monitor hours and overtime.
  • Maintain a safe work environment compliant with state and federal DOT/OSHA standards.
  • Ensure company operational model compliance.
  • Support a culture of excellence in quality of product to internal and external customers.
