Aircraft Line Support Services
Performs aircraft line support services to include receiving and dispatching aircraft at gates, push back and tow of aircraft, and conducting aircraft security inspections. Performs exterior/interior cleaning of company aircraft and de-icing of aircraft and equipment. Operates aircraft loading equipment and stairs to support maintenance activities. Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education
High school diploma/GED. Valid non-restricted driver's license from the state of residence is required.
Minimum Experience
Knowledge,
Skills and Abilities
Ability to lift/pull 50 lbs. Frequent kneeling, bending, squatting, and climbing required. Ability to understand Fed Ex express aircraft operations, procedures and servicing. Ability to interpret FAA, EPA and OSHA rules and requirements as they relate to aircraft in Fed Ex inventory. Knowledge of aircraft safety procedures. Knowledge of cleaning materials and their proper applications. Ability to operate all types of powered equipment.
Job Conditions
Must be willing to work odd weeks, rotating shifts, overtime and holidays. Non-covered safety sensitive position. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
