General Warehouse Team Member (Part‑time)

Part‑time General Warehouse Team Member responsible for loading/unloading trucks, moving materials, sorting, staging, and preparing products for shipment within the distribution facility.

• Separate, label and verify the count of incoming freight deliveries.
• Stock and maintain warehouse inventory.
• Locate and pull stock for outgoing deliveries.
• Package finished product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, and labeling).
• Individuals will spend the majority of their time standing, lifting and carrying products and climbing ladders to stock shelves.
• Use the computer system to locate products and stock incoming deliveries.
• Clean and maintain work area.
• Turn off and lock out equipment when not in use.
• Some overtime work may be scheduled and required.
• Shipping and Receiving responsibilities.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

• Computer skills – must be able to check email and complete online training courses.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers to aid in satisfying customer requirements.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations to accurately complete job tasks.
• Ability to organize and prioritize job tasks and requirements.
• Prior work experience in a warehouse or distribution center is preferred.
• Experience using a materials requirement planning system (MRP) such as AS400 preferred.

The role requires regular sitting, standing, or walking for 8 hours or more in a day. Frequent activities include using hands and fingers, grasping, handling, feeling, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, pushing, pulling, and reaching with hands and arms. Occasionally, the individual must lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The general warehouse associate must be able to talk and hear while performing the duties.
