About the Role
Pridestaff is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Warehouse Associate to support our Warehouse Lead. As a 3PL provider for a major agricultural company, we specialize in the storage and distribution of non-hazardous and hazardous pesticides, insecticides, herbicides, and related products.
This position plays a critical role in maintaining efficient warehouse operations while strictly adhering to all safety protocols, especially when handling regulated agricultural chemicals.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick specific products for disposition, returns, or shipment while strictly following Safety Data Sheets (SDSs) and all safety procedures.
- Palletize products securely and accurately.
- Weigh pallets and prepare them for outbound shipping.
- Assist with loading and unloading trailers for both disposition and returns.
- Receive incoming shipments, verify accuracy, and prepare detailed inbound receipts for office processing.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Operate warehouse equipment (including forklifts) in a safe and efficient manner.
- Follow all company policies, DOT, and EPA guidelines related to hazardous materials handling.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience working in a warehouse environment.
- Must be forklift trained and certified (or able to become certified immediately).
- Fluent in English - must be able to read, write, speak, and fully comprehend English 100% for safety and operational instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Previous knowledge of DOT and EPA regulations is a plus (training will be provided if needed).
- Competitive starting pay of $18/hour
