Lead Material Handler, Distribution Center

Location: Memphis, TN, USA – 4836 Southridge Blvd

Shift: Sunday 6:00 pm – 2:30 am;
Monday‑Thursday 5:30 pm – 2:00 am (or until work is completed)

Note: Shift subject to change based on business needs. Overtime may be required and is mandatory if needed.

Compensation: Competitive pay with $1.50/hr shift differential. Benefit eligible.

• Assist the management team in nightly warehouse operations.
• Lead a team of associates in picking and processing pharmaceutical products and supplies.
• Unpack and verify goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintain receiving records, and reject unsatisfactory items.
• Operate power equipment such as forklifts, hand tools, and other devices within the warehouse.
• Provide direction, resolve problems, and meet deadlines to ensure timely completion of work.
• Possess experience working in a cold storage area.
• Assist in other warehouse areas as needed.

• Typically requires 5+ years of related warehouse or distribution experience.

• Preferred: 5 years of warehouse or distribution center experience; minimum of 6 months of experience with McKesson for internal employees.
• Leadership skills, including coaching and fostering engagement across cross‑functional teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office).
• Power equipment preference (reach truck, pallet jack); certifications must be maintained once trained.
• Experience with Accumax or RF preferred.
• Positive attitude, quality‑driven, organized, punctual, committed, self‑motivated with excellent attendance.
• Attention to detail, ability to work independently with minimal supervision, adherence to safety protocols, and comfort in a fast‑paced warehouse environment.

• General office demands.
• Comfortable working at heights.
• Comfortable working in refrigerated areas when required.
• Walk up to 10 miles during a shift.
• Lift 20‑50 pounds repetitively; heavier weights may require team lift.
• Sit, stand, stoop, bend, and walk intermittently throughout the day.
• Sit or stand 7–10 hours per day.
• Extended hours may be necessary.
• Finger dexterity to operate office equipment required.
• Visual acuity for reading fine prints; specific vision abilities required.
• Basic hearing required.

Base pay range: $17.63 – $29.39 per hour.
