*** Warehouse Supervisor
***** Duties and Responsibilities
*** Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, identifying, dispatching and assuring quality of goods.
* Measure and report the effectiveness of warehousing activities and employee’s performance.
* Design and implement an inventory tracking system to optimize inventory control procedures utilizing Microsoft Business Central ERP.
* Examine the levels of supplies and raw material to determine shortages.
* Organize and maintain inventory and storage area.
* Ensure shipments’ and inventory transactions’ accuracy.
* Communicate job expectations and coach employees.
* Determine staffing levels and assign workload.
* Document daily deliveries and shipments to update inventory.
* Prepare detailed reports on inventory operations, stock levels, and adjustments.
* Evaluate new inventory to ensure it’s ready for shipment.
* Perform daily analysis to predict potential inventory problems.
* Coordinate with purchasing to order new supplies to avoid inefficiencies or excessive surplus.
* Recruit and train new employees.
* Monitor and recommend improvements in processes to increase efficiency of staging team.
* Maintain and ensure compliance with packaging schedule and assign specific tasks to all employees and monitor all packing equipment and supplies.
* Print CIA orders and distribute to pickers
* Print transfers requested by NY & Maryland
* Oversee packaging of all outbound shipments
* Manage the execution of all orders and tasks; ensure all are on time and within budget
* Prepare shipping documents, develop shipping plans, and schedule carriers to meet those schedules.
* Enters, maintains, and reconciles inventory transactions to ensure accuracy
* Pack, weigh, and label completed items for shipment or storage.
* Follow all company guidelines regarding packaging to ensure items arrive at their destination safely.
* Identify and report defective items before they are shipped to customers.
* Properly use packaging materials
** Required Skills
*** Proven work experience as a Warehouse Supervisor
* Highly effective supervisory skills and techniques
* Degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a relevant field is a plus.
* Ability to use computers, software and other technology for inventory and communication purposes.
* Proficient in MS Office (Excel and Word, in particular).
* Computer-savvy with a working knowledge of logistics software (ERP)
* Must be Reliable.
