Logistics Coordinator
Role:
Supporting customer service, warehouse operations, and sales support at an Associated Packaging, Inc. branch office.
- Set delivery appointments for inbound POs, update calendar, verify and enter inbound POs (receive), verify lot or serial numbers, enter put‑away locations, process outbound paperwork, and verify outbound shipments.
- Perform cycle count verification for accuracy and investigate discrepancies.
- Be forklift certified and serve as the forklift trainer for the branch.
- Main contact for facilitating/scheduling MHE service and serve as backup for warehouse personnel.
- Provide freight quotes to customer service team, schedule outbound freight shipments, arrange for carrier pickup, and process pick sheets and BOLs.
- Coordinate with freight carriers on claims, ensuring timely processing and resolution.
- Work with the Freight Specialist on freight damage claims.
- Process and pay branch invoices, including product, freight, and office supplies invoices to accounting.
- Process open sales orders to generate customer billings.
- Designated Safety Coordinator: conduct safety audits, inspections, and maintain product quarantine area.
- Manage third‑party warehouse transactions, inbound product, outbound shipment processing, inventory monitoring, and freight cost control.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Forklift certification
- OSHA 10‑hour certification preferred
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience with logistics, freight carriers, or warehouse operations
- Knowledge of LTL, TL, and small parcel operations
- Lean Six Sigma (or equivalent) root‑cause problem‑solving experience preferred
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Experience using Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel) and ERP/Transportation Management systems
- Experience with Net Suite and/or Freight Pop preferred
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities to achieve goals; ability to work in a team environment

- Experience with Net Suite and/or Freight Pop preferred
- Standard office setting
- Warehouse environment when necessary
