The hourly range listed is an estimate. Pay at Cardinal Health is determined by multiple factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's geographical location, relevant education, experience and skills and an evaluation of internal pay equity.
Shift
Schedule:
Monday‑Thursday 2 pm‑10:30 pm and Friday 12:30 pm‑9 pm (or until task is complete).
Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing or controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This may include functions such as receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc. Warehouse Operations also ensures the efficient flow of products from vendor receipt to shipment to a variety of internal and external customers.
Responsibilities- Ensure compliance with OSHA, DEA, FDA, state/local regulations and cGMP guidelines.
- Complete standard tasks using acquired knowledge and skills.
- Learn and apply new information and methods in the assigned area.
- Maintain appropriate licenses, training and certifications.
- Perform routine assignments that require some problem resolution.
- Review output regularly with work lead or supervisor.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to process orders, including accurate picking, quality control checks, and sorting.
- Maintain a clean work environment and comply with Environmental Health and Safety requirements.
- Assume additional duties or projects as assigned by manager or other leadership.
- Operate material handling equipment safely.
- Demonstrate effective oral communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Comfort working at heights of 20‑30 ft regularly.
- Willingness to work in refrigerated temperatures (36°F‑42°F) for up to 10 hours or longer, and in a freezer (5°F) for 30‑minute increments followed by 10‑minute breaks.
- Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for the entire shift.
- Ability to follow directions and change priorities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with technology such as computers or point‑of‑sale systems is a plus.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Open to candidates with little to no warehouse experience, providing full training starting day one.
